The LED Lenser H3 is a popular lightweight head torch with an integrated non-dazzle dimmer switch that makes it especially helpful for localised hands-free lighting around the home or workplace. Instead of a single super-strength light it has three energy efficient LEDs delivering a bright and comfortable 60 lumens of light up to 31 metres with a potential burn time of up to 62 hours when used on the lowest lumen setting. On the back of the comfortable elasticated headband there is a battery pack with an integrated variable control lever that allow the user to dim the lighting; thereby creating a softer light for ‘nearer’ tasks like reading, illuminating a pathway, viewing maps or inspecting utility meters. The stretch-safe Flexi-cable insures robust use and there is also the facility to swivel the lamp direction within 90 degrees, just enough to save having to turn your head an awkward angle – let the light do the work instead!
